MedVisPy is a software package for visualization, processing and analysis of medical images. It runs on PCs (both Linux and Windows).  It accepts input images in DICOM and NIfTI formats. The processed images can be saved in NifTI formats.

The image Processing in MedVisPy is performed via its graphical user interface. It offers also an IPython console interface to run the processing function through commands. This feature enables MedVisPy to run batch processing and background processing tasks.

MedVisPy enables also the users to define their specific plugins and add them to the software. For more information please consult MedVisPy 2.0.4 users manual.
